Stefan Hicks
Domiciled in the UK accessing Global markets for the Australian commercial and domestic consumers through both Brokers and MGAs.
Founder of SHC Insurance Broker from 1989, where in 2015 after establishing a national footprint, the company was merged with the then Parker Resources on the ASX in a reverse takeover. Then continued as Managing Director and CEO of the ASX listed Ensurance.
Founder of bespoke insurance industry Software Company. This company was built on entrepreneurial skills to enhance the digital distribution of insurance products both retail (B2C) and wholesale (B2B). First industry mover architect in developing digital platforms providing online products to end consumers, in addition to providing multi insurer digital solutions to the greater Financial Services industry including banks, credit unions and all financial services.
Founded Ensurance Underwriting - an MGA specialising in Construction and Latent Defects insurance located in Melbourne, Australia. An AFSL entity, accepted by Lloyds of London as a cover holder. Created bespoke products from multiple insurers and expanded network and footprint nationally. Built innovative software to distribute products in partnership with Australia's leading actuary - resulting in the ability to individually underwrite, rate and accept the 14m properties in Australia - an Australian first.
Founder and Managing Director of Ensurance Ltd an ASX listed company. After successfully opening up the company's first international business in London, an independent MGA focused on the UK and EU. Only the 14th MGA Swiss Re has partnered with globally. Stepping down as Executive Managing Director in October 2017, and further stepping off the board in 2018 to purchase Ensurance’s largest asset, SHC (Brokerage) back to private hands. Stefan now remains the major owner and Director of the Insurance Brokerage SHC.

Brett spearheads SHC’s Australian operations, leading a dedicated team of insurance brokers. Brett's core responsibilities include:
Expanding the group’s product portfolio, Business development, Channel management (sales and distribution), Stakeholder relationship management, Overseeing domestic operations, Escalating the group’s growth trajectory.
Brett has over 20 years’ experience in the Insurance industry across a diverse range of corporate, government and SME sectors. Brett brings a wealth of specialist knowledge regarding the Australian construction industry, providing a valuable resource for the SHC team and clients. Brett's experience is tempered with the pragmatic experience of successfully launching an ASX listed business in the highly competitive insurance sector.
Brett's can-do attitude has served his clients well by providing concise and actionable advice, delivering value and cost-effective risk/insurance solutions.

Been in the financial services industry for 40+ years. Specializing in Home Warranty Insurance since 2001. Experienced insurance broker specializing in Construction Insurances. Liaise with insurers, government agencies & finance experts to assist residential builders with their Home Warranty Insurance requirements.
Perdi Searson
Perdi has been with the company since Nov 2014 and has been working in the insurance industry for over 14 years. Perdi started her insurance career in the UK as an insurance broker and later became a qualified Network Trainer. Whilst Perdi specialises in Personal Lines insurance she also has experience across other insurance products.
David Wonnocott
David has been with SHC since 2014 and worked in various roles within online insurance, underwriting, sales and marketing.
Has worked extensively on SHC’s Digital Distribution/Home Insurance strategy providing product management services including the development of products and online systems supporting brokers in the provision and maintenance of products sold via online and through partnership channels.
Prior to SHC David has held management roles in retail banking, medical indemnity insurance and health insurance.
Annaliza Oliva
Annaliza is a qualified accountant with more than 24 years’ experience in accounting control operations in developing and successfully implementing control measures for cost reduction, proper asset utilization, budgeting and profit maximization, experience in internal auditing and cash management, compliance management including risk management, with sound experience in human resources management.
